I am Senior Research Associate at the Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, working with Prof. Jean Abraham on multimodal data analysis for breast cancer diagnosis, prognosis and treatment planning. I am also a visiting fellow of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, at University of Cambridge, collaborating with Prof. Mateja Jamnik and Prof. Pietro Liò. I am partly affiliated with the Department of Knowledge Technologies, Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia. My research interests are in the field of machine learning and data mining, focusing on development of novel machine learning and data mining approaches and their application in medicine and biology.
I am a co-founder of Bias Variance Labs, a research-led company that specializes in state-of-the-art solutions addressing all aspects of the data life cycle (data storage & stewardship, data & knowledge representation, data analyses, machine learning and visualization) for space research & technology.
